Announcing Colombia and Latin America Expansion

Interested in the South American (America Latina) market? Here at Global From Asia we are proud to announce we have trusted partners in the market who will be doing amazing things.

Esteban from Infinite Group Asia and his company will be working on developing the Latin American market to bridge the China and Asia market there.

What does this mean?

It means all this amazing value you see here in the English language and International market website will be applied to the Spanish speaking world in Latin America.

We will be having more meetups, more podcasts, content, summits, trade shows, you name it, it will be happening.

So what are the next steps? We will be preparing a business executive retreat to Colombia for this summer. We will be bringing top Chinese e-commerce executives from China to travel in Latin America. We are working with a tour agency in Colombia, Ecuador, and other countries there to show China what they have to offer.

Will be tours of the factories, the farm lands, the cities, the tourism, the real estate.

Here are the major milestones:

Jan 2018 – Kick off this new expansion to Latin America, this announcement.
Q1 2018 – (in South America) Team training in South America for the content, meetups, and retreats as well as the Cross Border Summit South America 2019. Mike Michelini will be visiting Colombia in February.
(In China) Start to invite top Chinese executives interested in expanding and investing in Latin America to our business retreat in Summer 2018.
Q2 2018 (In Cross Border Summit 2018 in Shenzhen, China) – we will have display about this new expansion and opportunity for the attendees of the third annual Cross Border Summit.
(In South America) begin hosting smaller meetups in the local market for Global From Asia.
Q3 2018 (in South America and China) take the business retreat to South America and get some feedback and take some action from the smaller high level trip.
Q4 2018 – Q2 2019 – full steam ahead with the Cross Border Summit South America 2019 planned for summer of 2019 (exact dates to be announced later)

Exciting isn’t it? We are so excited to have this opportunity open for you and the continuing to expand on cross-border e-commerce and trade in general.

Assist with Organizing Events in South America – We have a team developing there to assist with the creation of meetups as well as our future Cross Border Summit in 2019.

Attending the Business Retreat in Summer 2018 – this is a smaller, high level business executive retreat. We will have more details soon, contact us if this is interesting to you.

Attending the Cross Border Summit South America 2019 – this is going to be a great one. It will be in the free trade zone Cartagena, Colombia for the summer time. We picked the summer time as we don’t want to overlap with the China trade show seasons that happen during the Spring and Fall.

Assisting with the Spanish content – we are still in early stage discussions about how to convert the content to the Latin market in Spanish language. The team is forming now in South America and if you’re interested to take part let’s sync up.

From our research and discussions on both sides, we have a lot of continued collaboration between China and the Latin American market. China has been making special visa rules for certain countries in South America, as well as investing and researching the resources these territories have.

As the Chinese consumer market continues to grow and develop, there will be more and more demand for the rich natural resources available in the Latin American market.
