This week – a Con-man making business harder in Hong Kong and China, Chinese fitness apps going too far, wearable concepts and more

Took a couple weeks off from the weekly newsletter – just overloaded lately – people notice! thanks for the kind messages and article submissions, we’re back on track for weekly!

So let’s start it off on a ….sensitive note.

I have gotten a ton of people sending me a Hong Kong Free Press article onHSBC getting very tough on the banking just during the Easter holiday….

 — and now more articles coming out on how this con-man used HK and Chinese bank accounts to launder money and fraud big corporations

I really think these articles are linked to the reasoning why. And here’s another good article about it, with a good quote:

“extracting millions from some of the world’s best educated and most privileged” and laundering it through China

all of these articles sent via – a ton of readers who mostly want to stay anonymous!! So many people too, well one shout out to Matt Webb – breaking the news to me about the HK Free Press Article.

A new concept “one tree, one phone case” from a HK based startup that is helping the rainforest:

Is this taking “social pressure” a bit too for for health and fitness in China?
